    How long have you been waiting? Are you from the Middle East? I don't have any military or government background, and I am not married, so maybe it's just the region that prompted the security check. It's very frustrating.

    I haven't worked in government or the military. I am an inland applicant and have been in Canada for 4 years. I am still under the 6-month processing period, so I was planning to wait till January to order the GCMS notes. But how can you tell that it's a comprehensive background check?

    AOR July 29th, 2025. It's ONPNP. I received two ADRs, the last one being the CV, and after that, my tracker had the update "Background changed to in progress, when it was already in progress". It's been over a month and a half since the last update.

    Hi Andy, Did you hear back on your application? I am also under the PNP EE AOR July 29. I received the same update you received: "Background changed to in progress, when it was already in progress". I also have a dependent and am worried that this is taking too long.
