    It's more likley that they misspoke, IMO, i.e. that it was actually CSIS. Or made a reference possibly to some internal section in IRCC, or used a blanket term that you didn't catch.

    I have received mail in 1-2 days - it is possible. Less common these days, but still possible. And yeah, I'm surprised they don't have expedited/registered service for PR cards (even just pick-up at post office). It'd easily be worth $20-50 for many. I'd rather they charge extra for some things...

    Yep, 'it depends' is my experience with Canada Post - although I'm not actually clear where the PR card is being posted from. (Anyone know?) No real complaints, just hoping it comes quicker. BTW my actual experience - that I see all the time here - IRCC tends to say / respond "it has been sent"...

    It's not an issue. If asked, just tell the truth, stop-off / whatever in Saskatoon before you head to Regina. Note that at the port of landing (i.e. Toronto), they will want to confirm a mailing address to which to send the PR card.
