    This is nothing new. I think you are finding these rules for the very first time. These very same rules apply for a lot of other countries too, including Uncle Sam. Sometimes CBP refuses entry into the US for even Canadian PR holders who have a Youtube channel and they have monetized it.

    The fact that you still have 2.5 years automatically say that you can easily meet RO. Not sure why you are worrying here? CBSA is one of the most nicest border agency, they are not out there to take your PR away from you. You don't have to demonstrate RO because you aren't in the breach of it...

    I moved my spouse's work history to personal history after ITA too. I didn't include any LoA to explain it as my eligibility had no bearing on it, nor it was misrepresentation. The less LoAs the better was my assumption. Worked well too.

    PRTD in general takes min of 4-5 weeks. They usually don't take the "urgent" as urgent either. I'd assume as soon as the PR card arrives, that'll be easier to get it sent back via an overnight courier. The issue is with Canada Post's notorious wrong deliveries.
