Some American and British applicants seem to have a sense of entitlement to exceptional treatment when it comes to applying to immigrate to Canada

    >So many foreigners here. It's disgusting That was as sad thing to encounter. But, I'd emphasize that you don't resort to the same bigotry/discrimination that you yourself faced. Just not going to help you at all. >I bet a white person would be much less likely (if at all) to experience such...

Some American and British applicants seem to have a sense of entitlement to exceptional treatment when it comes to applying to immigrate to Canada

If anyone from any other nationality said the same thing, we would criticize them the same way. My nationality gets kicked left-and-right and I see it happen everyday. OP could've skipped the mention of nationality, but that's the only thing wrong with it. When I saw that the doctor failed to do...

    OCTOBER 2025 AOR

FD is not even a stage. A lot of people don't even get FDs - PPR/RFV/Portal are universal, everything else is assumed. In my case, FD in GCKey happened after my passports were stamped.

    July 2025 AOR

if you are referring to the date on top of the PR tracker, yes, nothing to do with your application. I'd ignore most GUs or updates like those as well om GC key. Between your P2 and eCoPR there isn't much that happens unless something puts your application review back in motion(very very rare)...

CEC remote work experience point calculation

By right employment letter I meant, with the full updated 2/3 year exp that you are claiming. You can add a LoE for explaining your work experience exclusion, no worries there as long as you meet the criteria.

CEC remote work experience point calculation

    >if I wait 5–6 weeks within the 60-day submission window, I will have completed the full 2 years by the time I submit my application and supporting documents. This will work. IRCC assumes that you'll be able to complete the work exp required to claim the points. Wait for it to happen and then...

    Landing rules- Express Entry

The issue would rather be about proving their settlement outside Quebec. If they can show Airbnb bookings, rental agreement signed, job lined up outside Quebec, etc -> not a lot for them to worry about. But, if their overall proof of settling outside of Quebec is a bit weak, that's a different...

Is DOT for active TB really needed for Study Permit?

Completely upto them to be honest - but if your TB treatment is over and you are not in a relapse, they likely shouldn't. Canada takes TB treatment and diagnosis very very seriously. At the same time, Canadian Pulmonologists aren't very experienced with TB either as the number of cases are far...

Any one get Ghost Update recently?

It is an update. I'd not use the word "ghost update" for anything. I'll go back to our expert's text that is still valid to this day for things made by consultants like IP1, IP2, etc (and also ghost update)...

Any one get Ghost Update recently?

Ghost updates rarely mean anything and should be considered a noise. >The updated date on the upper right corner changed from December to the day before yesterday. Stop believing in this bs. IRCC has already tweeted about the date - clarifying that it has nothing to do with with your...

Is DOT for active TB really needed for Study Permit?

    >However, IRCC still asked for another X-ray in April. Is this normal? This is a pretty odd thing to say - this is still Jan, did IRCC said that you'll need to do another X-ray in April in the future? Or did IRCC asked you to do another in April 2025? Pretty normal and just an added precaution...

    July 2025 AOR

Date update on PR tracker has nothing to do with your application. It is a system date, IRCC tweeted about it couple years back.

Application in Process = Passport Expiring in 6 Months

In your case(assuming you are a CEC), Passport validity doesn't seem to be related to the application at all. You can renew your passport as that's something you should be doing regardless. If you were outland, that would've been a different conversation, but even in that case people renew their...

Delay in receiving PCC from India

Not recommended that you submit it late, but if you have no other option - you can try! Some people have made it work, but that doesn't mean that IRCC will accept yours later or won't return your application as incomplete.

    ECA Application with IQAS

The bigger problem is that, you are not to collect any documents for ECA - your college/uni is supposed to mail them directly. That's at least the standard with WES, I'm sure IQAS would be the same. That's why call and ask your uni/college.

    ECA Application with IQAS

Very unlikely that anyone on this forum would be from that university. Why don't you just call them and get the answer?

    Humanitarian and Compassionate Applications 2025

An officer manually triggers the RFV/PPR letter, so that's where the hold is. You can expect a minimum of 3 months validity (I've not seen validity less than that commonly).
