    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

I tried that as well, but it didn’t work. I even used a different email ID, but the other applicant wasn’t prompted to answer the secret question. I'm not sure why it's not working. Update: It has now been linked. I initially expected it to prompt for the secret answer automatically upon login...

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Thanks. Yes, I already did that, and the other adult accepted and filled in all the details. However, on my end, it still shows as “pending,” as if they haven’t accepted the invitation yet. When they accepted, it didn’t prompt for the answer to the secret question either, which made me a bit...

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

I noticed you applied for 2 adults. Did you send an invitation to the other adult, or did you apply separately? I sent an invitation to my spouse and completed everything (although we haven’t submitted the application yet), but the status still shows "invitation pending." My spouse has already...

Could you please share what aspect of the application was incomplete and led to its return? It would be helpful for others to take extra care when submitting the application.

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Yeah… lately I've been closely following every update in this section since January and keeping track of the information shared here in the forum, as I’m planning to apply this month. It’s all still fresh in my mind, especially after spending years just to get PR—and even a few extra months just...

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

It's already May 19th and you still haven’t applied for citizenship, yet you remain confident that you'll not only apply but also complete all the steps and receive your citizenship by August—which is just three months away.Your optimism is admirable. Honestly, if someone from IRCC saw your...

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Thank you. The place where I had it done charges a combined fee for two printed copies along with the electronic version, which can be provided either by email or on a USB. They asked me to write my name on the back, and they stamped it with the date and studio details. There is an extra charge...

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Are we required to upload both the front and back of the photo? I was under the impression that for online submissions, only the front is needed, and that the photographer’s details can simply be entered in the section below. However, when I had my photo taken today, the photographer stamped his...

Not too sure about the NOC. Nope, didn’t claim the family points either, and I’m actually living in a different province—or should I say, a whole different country ;)- Oui, je parle français, haha :D

PNP – Alberta, Category: PV2. All educational credentials and work documents were in order. I’ve applied for GCMS notes today to find out what might have triggered the cancellation. Will share an update once I receive them.

COPR Cancelled after getting stamped passport and COPR

Webform to request an official letter from IRCC, as VFS is not accepting the return of the counterfoil and COPR without it. According to VFS, they have no knowledge of the process and require official documentation in order to proceed.

COPR Cancelled after getting stamped passport and COPR

Yeah… planning to order the GCMS notes today and will also submit a request through the webform, since VFS isn't accepting the passport/COPR without an official request letter from IRCC.

COPR Cancelled after getting stamped passport and COPR

My brother received his COPR and visa and was preparing to travel, but he recently got a letter stating: "Your application has been re-opened and therefore your COPR is not valid for travel. Please follow the instructions in the Ready for Visa letter and return the COPR and visa counterfoil...

I may have misread and misunderstood earlier, but everything is clear now—and honestly, it's quite a relief. I really appreciate your explanation. Thank you so much :)

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Yeah, that’s what I understood from going through various videos, forums, and forms. It’s a bit confusing, but I’ll go ahead and apply without submitting the PC. When I get to the section that asks if I'm submitting the PC, I’ll select ‘No’ and include a brief explanation.

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Got it, thank you I was under the impression that I needed to provide PCCs covering the last 5 years. Since I’ve been living here from 2022, I thought I would need to submit a PCC for the 2020–2022 period from the country I lived in before—but I had already submitted that when I applied for...

    May 2025 - Citizenship Applications

I’m planning to submit my citizenship application this month. I landed in Canada as a PR in April 2022 and have now accumulated over 1,100 days of physical presence. I had submitted a police certificate as part of my PR application. Since landing, I haven’t travelled outside of Canada. Would I...
