    If there were still a few people still applying for family sponsorship in Quebec this will push many to move although with an SOWP maybe not. Given the job market and higher cost of living in places like Ontario it is a risky time to move especially without secured employment.

    This is sad. People have no idea how much of an impact claiming asylum will have longterm. Always accept the refused entry and return home unless you actually fear for your life.

    Would add that if you are 60 you also have to be concerned about how you will support yourself in your old age. The ability to retire with some quality of life will be very difficult.
