Can someone please help in clarifying the below question.

I was holding a resident permit in Qatar from 1998-2011. If i go back to Qatar to apply for PCC, Should the issued PCC cover the duration that I visit Qatar inorder to apply for PCC or should it just cover the duration I was holding the resident permit?

I am confused by the CIC requirement 'PCC must be issued after last time the applicant lived in that country'.

Will this include the time I am planning to stay in Qatar to apply for PCC, say three days?

Should I provide any Letter of explanation regarding this?

I just managed to get my Qatar PCC.i went to the CEID office and applied.Recieved clearance in 3 working days for a nominal fee of 10 qar.Unfortunately they are only covering PCC from the date my Residence permit was issued and not the date I actually landed in Qatar on work visa.
Also they have only mentioned my old passport no which was used for my stay in Qatar

Hi guys,

Need your help in the same tricky situation.

My wife was on "on arrival visa' for Qatar (where I stay) twice. First during may 2018 to june 2018 and then we went to India (our home country) for a wedding.
We came back to Qatar in July 2017 with my wife on visit visa again.
She got her RP on 1st aug 2018 and her PCC is from 1st august.

Now my issue is this: my application was already in ip2 (AoR 27th april) when on 12th December cic asked for my wifes pcc. ADR has been on "not applicable" ever since i uploaded my wifes pcc. And when on 24th December i called cic, the agent said my eligibility was passed.

HOWEVER, I just checked the form for my wife that i had submitted when applying for her and in it i had stated in her travel history that she was in qatar since May 2018 as TOURIST.

My question is: will cic still reject my application even if on the form I said she was in qatar as visitor (at time of submission she still hadnt gotten her resident visa in qatar). Because of this issue, there seems to be a gap as the pcc is from august 2018 but in travel history shes in Qatar since may 2018 (though as tourist).

Also if the police/ministry does not give my wife PCC for her visit visa (very likely as the rule here is pcc is only for period when you get rp) would an LoE be enough?

I went to Ceid today and they said the MAXIMUM they can do is give pcc for 2nd visit which was on 23rd july for my wife. This is because the first visit (from 22 may to 23 june) my wife had exited so no pcc for that. For 2md visit, after a week her visa was converted to family visa so they MIGHT give pcc dated from that. It will make only 1 week difference because my current pcc is already from 1st august (my wifes visa was accepted on 31st july).

Will loe be enough?

Could you please tell me how you sorted out this issue? Because I'm in the same situation.

@Tonywef Qatar PCC is only issued from the date RP is issued. If you were on business visa, tourist visa or on any other visa, it will not be shown on your PCC. IRCC knows this and therefore they ask for each visit entry and exit stamp to be scanned and attached along with a LoE and Qatar PCC. Please note if you have multiple entries then you may have to scan each entry/exit individually and compile.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

To avoid any confusion, my situation is that my wife was in Qatar for 2 years on a resident visa, and she travelled and then came back on a different resident visa. So when the CID issued the PCC it was issued from the date of the second entry, which means that there were 2 years missing on the PCC.

Below how I managed to sort the issue out,

1- I requested a PCC from Metrash2 app, and it is covering the second period.
2- I went to Gharafa Immigration Gate 3 - 2nd floor and I applied for a Travel Transactions Report. You will pay 10QAR and you will go the next day to get it.
3- I took the Travel Transactions Report, a copy of the passport 1st page, and a copy of the first entry stamp on the passport to the CID Salawa Road, and I went to the offices (Officer Gamal or Officer Adel), not the counter. They took all these documents, and they asked me to file for a new PCC (manually) for the first period (In Process).

So I will be submitting 2 PCCs for my wife to cover her full stay in Qatar.

I hope this helps.
