Hello

I am undergoing Hydrography survey training from an institution in Québec. It is a 6 month course which consist of 4 months online training and 7 weeks of field project in Rimouski, Québec. I had completed my graduation by the mid of 2018 and I am currently unemployed as I am undergoing training since October 2019. I do not have any previous travel experience and I am unemployed right now. Will it be difficult to get visitors visa? My aim is to complete the course and come back to India. Any suggestions, is there something that I should consider so that my visa wont get rejected as I have paid the whole course fee.

Thank you

Yikes, I hope that course fee is refundable.

People with your profile (unemployed, student, no travel history, Indian nationality) will have a very difficult time getting a visitor visa approved. I don't want to speak in absolutes, but the odds are against you.

It's less about proving your reason to go to Canada. You have to prove that you will go back to India after your visit. That's why it's harder for unemployed people without any travel history to get approved. The best you can probably do is prove you have some sort of job offer or career in Hydrography lined up in India.
