    Unverifiable personal history

You don’t have to provide proof for personal history. It may be requested later but unlikely. Even if they do, whatever you just mentioned or an explanation the company is gone is fine. They just want to know that you weren’t involved in suspicious activities that may be a threat to Canada or...

After becoming a Canadian citizen, does one need to surrender the passport for their other citizenship?

I’m aware of reacquisition. I was referring to the “surrender the passport within 2 years or else there’s a late fee” part. Can you find that online? First time I’d ever heard of it, although I did hear from an acquaintance they needed to wait 2 years to reacquire Filipino citizenship. To stay...

Is it legal to enter Canada on a visitor visa only to fly out to another country?

A valid Canadian visitor visa can be used to transit through Canada. Perfectly legitimate reason to give to CBSA for visiting Canada.

First time traveling with Canadian passport

Yep, that’s all fine. Always use the “strongest” passport for the country you’re entering. Got told this by a bad-ass career diplomat, one of the most remarkable people I’ve ever met.

Is immigrating to Canada easier with sponsorship or a student VISA?

Marriage and spousal sponsorship is much, much easier. Assuming that's what you mean, provided your girlfriend has some form of permanent status in Canada. If you're going to do the student visa route, you better have a lot of money.

    Unclear eTA/ Require work permit

The IRCC application wizard is wonky. It is by no means legally binding. It’s just a way to streamline application types but it can be confusing if you have an atypical case. What your university representative is telling you is fine, just to get straight to the eTA application.

Passport Renewed after submitting citizenship application, how to inform IRCC?

They don't care to receive your updated passport in advance. You can simply show the renewed docs if you are called for an interview or at the oath.

The primary applicant's eCOPR has to be validated first before you can arrive in Canada. He should contact IRCC to get the link. The answer is no, you cannot land in Canada before he receives the link.

Who is the primary applicant? If you are, you can land first. If it is your husband, he has to follow up and get his eCOPR before you land.
