How come my parents' TRV got refused? So sad...

I am a PR and my spouse is a Canadian Citizen.
I applied TRV for my parents but it got refused.
So sad, what should I do? I really want my parents come to Canada to visit me.
I ordered the ATIP today...

Timeline:
Nov 1, 2019 - Submitted
Nov 2, 2019 - Biometrics
Nov 19, 2019 - Biometrics Received
Nov 20, 2019 - Refused Letter

The reasons are as below,

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. - The purpose I wrote is visiting me and my husband, they have never met him.

How long did you say they were going to stay ? How were they funding any of the visit themselves ? Are they retired ?

I said they are going to stay for 3 months. They are retired and I only showed the bank statements of me and my husband. No any financial support by themselves because I think it will be my responsibility to pay the expenses.

This is why your application got rejected. THEY have to provide their proof of funds. You cannot sponsor them, as visa officer mainly looks on their funds and ties to the home country. Your documents is just nice to have as an addition. If you want to sponsor them you need to apply thorugh sponsorship, not TRV

They definitely have to show their finances as well. It is more important than your finances for a regular visa.
You have the option of applying for a super visa if you qualify, for a super visa your parents will need insurance and medicals and you and your husband jointly need to meet income requirements, but some of the financial burden is placed on you and your husband instead of your parents.

Having them submit their financial proof per se doesn't guarantee approval at all. As already mentioned here, they have to show their ties to their home country, that they will not overstay in Canada.

A stay of 3 months shows that they do not have strong ties to their home country...I think that was the reason for the refusal based on the purpose of visit.

Yes you can apply right away if you want. But do think carefully and do your research on how to build a strong application.

As previously suggested, you can also opt for the super visa, where the burden of financial proof is more on the sponsors in Canada, and they will have to have medical insurance.

Thanks for your reply. I am wondering to submit a medical document that shows my grandmother needs my parent to take care of, do you think this will be help? My parent are both retired, I really dont know how to show a strong ties...

Provide their financial documents (ties), provide your financial documents and sponsorship letter where you certify that both of you will take care of all of their expenses

No, I have not. I have asked my mom to prepare more document.
