Urgent help needed
I recently received an email from London Immigration office that I need to pay fees for RPRF, however I had paid the full price ($1040) at the time of application(August 2018). I uploaded my receipt as I was advised here in this forum. Today I received another email stating that they had sent me a refund of $490( $85 biometrics fee/ 405 RPRF fee) on Dec 2018. I’ve never received any refunds, what’s going on with my case? Can someone help me please. Do I just pay the fees? Why would they even refund the fees 6 months after I applied?

They obviously think they refunded it. Who knows why. They woukd have put it back on the credit card you used and you may not have noticed. Suggest you pay them again ASAP a nd send proof of payment.

Entered the 13 month mark now. DM on ECAS and pre-arrival letter both received at the end of August...

Really hope it jumps to CoPR to (hopefully) cut down the remaining wait time. Been back in Vancouver since the start of July - really keen to start working again!!

Come on, LVO!
You may want to consider submitting a web form. I had read in another thread of an LVO applicant who submitted a webform to LVO after receiving DM and he received CoPR the following day, so I did the same thing when I had DM for about 5 days.... received CoPR (electronically) within 24 hrs. Worth trying atleast.

^ That is where I originally had read of this.

I had emailed them on Friday 13th (1 year mark) and received no response today. Hopefully this week I get something!

I could be wrong in this but I would think emailing them is just going to a generic inbox at the visa office whereas a webform submission is specific to your case and will more likely receive a quicker response. I had read a few other cases in various threads of people doing the same thing and getting the same result.

Apologies - I meant I had submitted a webform on Friday. In the message I said that it was my last day of estimated processing and with DM on ECAS and pre arrival letter in my account should I be expecting something soon.

Got PPR few days ago and submitted my passport and photos. Today GCKey changed to "approved". I can also see the counterfoil with number, status and expiry date. I don't see a COPR or approval letter in the messages. "Review of additional documents" still states that they need my passport to process the application. Also, my Biometrics section is blank now. Is this normal? Does that mean they have stamped my passport and will be returning it soon? Would really appreciate if someone can shed light on this
Don't stress, this is all normal. Counterfoil issued is the visa that will be pasted be on your passport. COPR does not come in the messages, it will be with your passport in the package that you will receive.
You will now have your passport back very soon. Good luck.

I received a response from LVO today saying "...the application has been approved and the file passed to the Visa Printing Unit for COPR issuance. Please note that this may take a few days due to the current caseload."

So, that's good. Just a waiting game now! Does anyone know if the Visa Printing Unit they refer to will be in LVO or Canada?

Did you get Passport Request? Sounds like you’re just going from DM to COPR!

Hi guys, I am a Nov 21st applicant with file transferred to London visa office on 02 July and AOR 2 on 05 July.

Having heard nothing since, I decided to order the GCMS notes and put a case specific enquiry via the webform on 01 Sep. I received the GCMS notes yesterday from which I concluded my file was 'Put Away' in London visa office. As per the notes, eligibility, criminality and security had not started, which meant the file was basically put aside. However, the notes were generated on 5th September which meant any latest updates would have been missed out.

However, this morning I got a reply to my case specific enquiry via webform and the immigration officer confirmed that eligibility had been passed but criminality and security were still pending, meaning it would have been done only after 05 September. They also said that they couldn't provide an estimate of when the other two would be completed.

Does anyone know how long do they take to do criminality and security after passing eligibility?

Oh, my file was transferred on July 4, then August 12 pre arrival, biometrics and request for pcc... and still waiting for decisions made. Probably background check they are doing, and from what I read here it takes from 1 month and up... May I ask what webform inquiry u done? I would like to try and do the same.

This is the link for London visa office.

However, I had to write to them twice to get the details. The first time I wrote to them was a generic enquiry on my application status to which I received a generic reply in less than 24 hours.

The second time I wrote to them, I explained why I wanted to know my application status as my UK visa expires soon so I would have to extend it and if I do, I might not be able to land in Canada while my UK visa application is under consideration, which is a bit complex situation. This time they replied to me with these details after nearly 25 days.
