do we have to upload document under Arranged Employment (mandatory, if applicable)? Looks like it is a mandatory field whereas I have applied under Human Capital Stream - CEC so do I have to upload documents under this category. I have an open work permit and do not have lmia and neither job offer letter.

It's all personal preference and it cost you $1500. I am at 455 and I went for OINP submission after NOI. Based on the past draws, the EE draw may come down to 455+ in next few draws, but nothing is guaranteed, if you want to be the safer side, you can go for OINP(having more points is always act as a backup if something goes wrong with any of your claimed points);

But, anyone with less than 450 should consider themselves lucky and definitely take this opportunity as the draw won't go down below 450 for a foreseeable future!
Thanks for great inputs, I will go for OINP as I will lose 5 points next month.

I have simple question do you think there will be another Tech draw for ONIP, and when do you think it will be.

It's not a simple question. No one really knows an answer! but, here is my 2 cents

Based on the below note, there is likely to be 1 more NOI from OINP, but which steam is something unknown!
Below is from OINP website. What I infer from is that they have around 2500+ more invitation left for the year 2019 as of July 11 and in which 1600+ issued as part of the recent "Tech Draw" and around 1000+ still left in their Quota for 2019!

In 2019:
  • Ontario received an allocation of 6,650 nominations and additional 250 nominations specifically for temporary foreign workers in intermediate skilled occupations (National Occupational Classification [NOC] - Skill Level C) through the federal government’s NOC C initiative
  • as of July 11, 2019, 3,984 nominations have been issued

Well, just a minor yet very significant point to add in your calculation, the OINP NOIs have targetted the candidates just below the federal cut-offs and I am assuming many of them would have got a direct ITA and would not have taken the OINP route. So, in that sense, the conversion rate of NOI issued to actual admission/PR through OINP would be well below 3984. Hence, the possibility of more draw is quite possible. But yeah, in what stream they do it, it's really a mystery. Though, I really do want them to have at least one more tech draw and pick the profiles 420+. Wouldn't that be a great news guys? :)

Hi Guys im at CRS 441 with NOC 2171. Need your help with below :

1. Is the Tech Draw only specific to the NOC`s picked on 12th July and would not include any other NOC code ? ( All other tech NOC`c close to 2171 got picked up but not mine.. arggghhh)
2. Also do you need to have Canadian work experience / study permit to be eligible for this draw ?
3. Would there be any other tech draws in the future? ( If so, would it be the same NOC`s again) ?

Hi, so what after submitting the ONIP application. We only have to wait for their decision, can someone elaborate the process the stages how its works, what is the minimum and maximum time for the application to process. Also, if our ONIP get approved do we get some letter from them via email or by login into ONIP portal? Also just like NOI in our IRCC do we also get some other link in IRCC profile after ONIP approved.

Just want to know, after approved how we get additional points, and how we include those points in IRCC is everything done automatically. As I heard that we have to accept it from our IRCC profile. Anyone having experience with the whole process?

Hi,
1. Does your work experience in the last 5 years belong to 2171 as per your EE profile?
2. not mandatory.
3. None other than CIC and GOD know though I am too waiting for more of such draws and at a lower CRS window.

Actually, I also have mentioned 2171 as the last 6 years of experience and prior to that, I have mentioned 2173 for 2.5 years. I was wondering if same could happen to me as well if there comes another draw at my score.
Please do tell me in case you find anything valuable info regarding it.

I think Ontario looks at only experience of the last 5 years. So if in the last 5 years, you do not have work experience of a minimum of 1 full year, in the profiles they are looking for, it will not be possible for you to get a nomination.

As per the list of NOC codes, those are going to stay the same unfortunately. Since, if you observe, the announcement for the tech draw happened on the 9th of July and the profiles were picked on 12th of July. It is not something that was decided on the basis of the draw conducted. These have been decided based on consultations with employers.

Hi guys, I have received NOI on 12th July, and submitted my docs on 27th July.

I have 2 questions here,

First ,
My CRS was 446 and I have claimed points for spouse WES as well.
But while filling OINP form they didn't ask for spouse WES?
Is it correct or I have missed something here?

Secondly,
They asked for birth certificate to show blood relation in Ontario but I didnt have it, I have attached both mine and my sister passport copy which shows parents names, will it work or birth certificate is mandatory?

While filling ONIP Application second the last page you have to upload your dependent documents, but that's, not an issue if you missed uploading then they will ask you. I also give access to WES to them later when they ask me and second it not mandatory to have strong ties in Ontario, In my application, I have mentioned that I only have friends whereas do not mention any strong ties.

Thanks, but I have claimed points for under'relative in Canada' in IRCC and cuttoff for OINP was 439, if I am unable to prove will deduct 15 points from crs score,
