My AOR is 1 day later than you, turned to IP2 on Aug 23. ADR came in June this year!!! No matter what I did, they just ignored my application for 9 months.

Security started last month, now I’m thinking under Ss,also Sydney VO.

That's very bad. You are in EE or other ways of application? Cases in Sydney are extremely slower than others. Obviously they have no conception of 'efficiency". i believe the normal security screening takes 8months to 1 year. However, it takes longer if your cases are in Sydney.

i don't think it's appropriate for them to delay the cases so much. I'm suspicious they are still not starting my security check. I plan to hire a lawyer to push IRCC. Honestly if I were CEO, i would lay off all of staff who work in sydney. Unfortunately it's a government institute,

Yes, I’m FSW O, so called should be done in 6 months type

When I found out my security was not started till June this year, I was in shock!! Every time I call them, they say things all look good, just wait. I also ordered notes, they never gave it to me till today!! I wrote to an MP to realize my case was untouched for 10 months.

Now my security is started in June (around June 18-24), I called on July 10th it is still not passed. Because my VO is Sydney, I don’t know it is them being slow to update the status, or I’m under security screening.
Many people say security should only take days to pass (unless under ss).

Hi, my visa office is also Sydney NS. My security started on May 23th based on the call to IRCC. However, I did ask the agent "am I in comprehensive security check which may take longer", she said no, just normal security check. But now It has been one and half month for security, does it mean I am in SS? does the call center agent has enough info to tell if an applicant is in SS? I only had one travel history to Taiwan during my 9 years in Canada since I was 16 excluding some trips to USA.

Hi, I totally understand your situation. But to my knowledge, call center agents are not allowed to tell you if you are under SS. If you are worried, better order GCMS and CBSA (100% confirm) now. By the way, My travel history is also Taiwan and US, besides my own county.

Thanks for your reply, I think I should be in the SS, otherwise, the normal security shouldn't take that long. I thought little to no travel history should end up fast process time, but seems like they just randomly put people in SS.

Hi there, if you wait for two months, then it's very likely that you are in SS. My application is also pretty simple. One year work experience and only USA study travel but I'm under ss. It depends on your NOC .

Hi thanks for your reply, my NOC is 2174 Software Developer. Is that triggers SS? Trying to figure out what leads to the security screening in my case.

Hey guys,

I just learned that my security is in process since last Friday - July 12. On Monday they asked for my spouse’s divorce certificate and schedule A. My spouse in unaccompanying.

Does request for such documents serve as and indicator of something?
How long does it usually take for a normal security check to be completed?

Hi
I have a question
Just came to know today, in travel history, one of the trip was to China, as per me it was a tourist visa, but the agent who applied visa didn't know much..... And he applied business visa.....
Now the problem is I mentioned tourist visa while applying , and when I got adr, again I filled the info as tourist visa......
What should I do now. Should I inform ircc about it?

Dear All,
My AOR is on November 12, 2018. Family of 3.
Medical Passed: 13 December 2019.
IP2: 6 February 2019
ADR: 19 February 2019
ADR submitted: 21 February 2019
ADR status changed to Not applicable: 26 February

I ordered for GCMS notes on April 17, 2019, and received it on July 15, 2019. (was expecting somewhere around May 20, 2019)

Extract of GCMS notes:
Assessments
Eligibility:
Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality:
Passed
Org Crime:
Medical:
Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing:
Complete
Other Reqs: Cancelled
Final:

Can you please make me understand the following:
1) Why the security is blank?
2) What is info sharing?
3) What is Other Reqs: Cancelled means?
4) Is this delay normal? I have seen many getting PPR within 6 months.
5) When can I expect my PPR?

It is nearing 8 months, I have not heard anything from IRCC. Are there anyone here with the same status.
Appreciate your reply.
