How can I follow my PR card application online?
There is a way to link this application to your account! Just log in and find the "link" option at the bottom part of the page, and then you can enter the information on your landing paper to link it ~~ good luck :D

Also there is a detailed guide somewhere on the forum... that's why I knew about this in the first place, but I couldn't find it anymore...

Hey guys!

Just a friendly reminder for those who already got their new permanent SINumbers after their Permanent Residency, make sure you register a new online account with the CRA. I just tried logging in using my existing GCKey on https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/account-individuals.html but it gave me an error "ERR.041" and asked me to call 1-800-959-8281. I was able to speak to an agent after 20 minutes in the queue. The agent told me that I have to re-register on my CRA online account as they received a new SIN, and then she emailed me a new security code. It took me 5 minutes to set up and I was able to see all my previous years' tax returns linked to my new SIN already.

Cheers!
I called CRA today to let them know I have a new SIN number, as of yesterday. I am still able to login to their online system and see all my old tax files, etc. The person said they will automatically get notified by Services Canada and that I need to call back later on, in a month, to make sure my new SIN was registered. The agent seemed not familiar with the issue, and kept putting me online to"ask" about this from his colleagues. So I thought to ask here: Is this how it works regarding updating SIN numbers with CRA?

I receive the letter in may 18.

"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Protected Person in
Canada class.
We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in Vancouver will contact you to arrange an appointment for the
finalization of your permanent resident application.
IMPORTANT: You and your family members, if any, will be required to present original
identification document(s) to the Canada Immigration Centre at your appointment. A final

You should receive your letter within the next few weeks. It used to be almost 3 months between DM and Interview. It seems they are inching closer to 2 months now.
