Job hunting tips

Good day! I have a question to those who have already scored their first jobs upon landing. How did you go about applying for jobs? Did you apply online or went personally, asked if there are vacancies and submitted resumes?

Thanks for all inputs. I landed 2 weeks ago and applied to alot of job openings and had 2 interviews so far. I was wondering if applying online is sufficient to get something.

It is either online or through networking (attending professional events, job fairs etc.). Unless you are applying for roles such as daily labourer or factory staff I don't see how you can just show up at a company to ask if there are vacancies.

Try also the staffing agencies in particular those that are specialized in your industry.
