Hello everyone, so finally its over! My parents got their PPR on Mar 18th, 2019, and received the passport with VISA stamped on April 8th, 2019. They went to Niagara for Flagpoling as they were in Canada, AND finally everything is completed smoothly.

Hello, I got the request to submit travel history.
"Travel History Info Form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information. for you and your spouse This must be received at this office by: 2019/05/15"

I was wondering is I only have to submit IMM5662 form?
What about the "including citizenship and resident document information."?? how to fulfil that?

I have a question. My parents haven't got PCC request yet, but they have passed their medical few days back. And they are planning to come soon to Canada for 6 months from India.

Can we get PCC document from Canada if PCC request is made while they are in Canada or will they have to go back to India to get it done?

I was thinking may be we can go to embassies in Canada and apply.

We haven't applied for PCC yet because my parents have stayed in multiple countries for more than 6 months in last 10 years. So we were not sure which country is CIC going to ask for. So we are waiting for formal PCC request

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:
Passport/Travel Document: Please provide copy of your sponsor's prev indian passport
Copy of your Sponsor's educational certificates, which lists name of his parent/Parents.

When I try to upload the passport in cic portal, it does not allow me to select any year before 2018 and my previous passport expired in 2016. What would you recommend? I have already sent the scanned copy of my passport alongwith the educational certificates to the email provided but have not got anything back from LVO - New Delhi. Its been more than a week.

You can apply it from canada. Go to any BLS centre and get in 4 weeks. But my advise will be to get it from India. It's fast and less price
My parents got in 10 days and just cost them 1000rs. It's easy. You can submit online application and payment also online.
Also get the PCC for all other countries where they have stayed for more than 6 months.
Don't wait for CIC. Also they will give just 30 days to submit it

I believe for requesting Indian PCC, it's easier to apply in India, isn't it??

Any idea how long BC province takes to verify if you or dependent ever received social assistance. My file is stuck since Jan 2019 and there no update on that. Second Round Aaplicant.

I have almost identical timeline. Still "Application Received" for both the sponsor and the applicant.

Lets wait for other people updates.
