Hi-
My husband and son (both PRs) and I are currently living in the US. We've found out I am pregnant and due to work logistics will not be able to move to Canada for the birth of this child. SO I find myself again in the position of sponsoring someone. With a newborn, is it the same sponsorship process as when I did my husband/son? Is it better if I start it now outland (we will likely move to Toronto before it's complete but after the baby is born) or should we just wait until we move and do inland then? For the duration of time that we are in Canada before this babies PR comes through, do we have any insurance options? Is it a full cost application?
Thanks so much as we navigate this unexpected/confusing situation.
Thanks!
NB Not to worry about residency requirement for my husband/son, we are all good with that.
