Work Permit (TWP) under AIPP (PR application within 90 days)

Hello. Happy New Year to all.. I just would like to ask if anyone here is going through TWP under AIPP (PR application within 90 days)? How does it go? So far, I am in the process of obtaining this week my Settlement Plan and ECA from WES. I just want to ask cause on the Application for Foreign National Form that I submitted to my employer, I stated there that my accompanying members are my spouse and 7-Year old son. So how doesn’t this go about? All I know is that for me, I will go about the process of TWP, but what about my spouse and son? Also, I am currently working in Bahrain and my family is in the Philippines. Will that be a bit complicated since we are not together? I am really clueless on how will it go. Anyone who has experienced this scenario, any inputs or advice will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much and good luck to us!

Hi, have you managed to find the info out as I’m also in the same position and I can’t find the info I need as to what visa my wife and two kids need as I need to apply for my TWP??

Yes I’m in Canada on my work permit, still waiting for PR... the scheme has some very big issues at the moment and it currently has a 30% PR decline rate. I am going through some big problems with my PR. Nothing is wrong with the pack it’s just being delayed and delayed at immigration . Seems they don’t want certain roles on the scheme. It’s not good news especially when people leave home lands and bring families over.

Did London accept ur application under AIPP? I am an applicant from Ireland and they advised me the VAC in London will not take applications under AIPP. So I had to mail it to the Sydney address they provided in the endorsement letter.

Yeah I got my work permit in April from London. I’ve been working in Canada since April and my PR has been in for 8 months..... but I have been told that they were going to change the WP application process. They will assess your PR eligibility before they issue the WP. Looks like that has already started. As like me people have left there home country’s and are now finding it hard to get the PR. The Feferal government don’t seem to like this scheme, they have real concerns as its employer lead and they think it could be abused for people to gain entry. Have they given you any time frame for your WP being processed in Sydney?
