Luggage shipment to Toronto

Dears,

Kindly guide me,

I am sending my luggage through a cargo company here in Riyadh and they will deliver my luggage up to the airport (Pearson Int.). This will be air cargo and will reach there in 15 days maximum whereas I am landing 1 month later.

Please advise, where at the airport I will have to go to receive it?

What if someone like my friend will go there to receive? I might reach there a month after.

Can he (my friend) present the tax exempted list of items that I got stamped during my first landing back in 2016?

Are there any penalties if I will not receive my luggage on time and it will remain here 1 additional month?

Is there any cargo company in Riyadh who can provide door-to-door service in Canada?

Looking forward to know your expert opinions.

You mean I should take my luggage while I travel? And pay for the excessive weight to the airline?

You can ask the shipping company to store the luggage, and ship it to you after you reach Canada. That way you can go and clear it yourself.

Thanks this is a good suggestion. Can you please advise few cargo companies in Riyadh dealing in Riyadh-Toronto with this storage facilities.
