Link paper application to my GCkey

Hello everyone,

I'm so excited to receive the e-mail ;D from cic to ask me to link my paper application to my GCkey account. Unfortunately, :'( I have trouble linking the application to my account successfully. Anybody has any ideas?

Application Number
Applicant's Name
Place of Birth - click box and hit the space bar once, don't type anything
Applicant's Country
Where You Will Reside in Canada - sponsor's address
Number of Applicants - many people get lucky with 2, sponsor and applicant

Leave the passport info blank.

It worked for linking my paper application (Quebec selected skilled workers) with my Gckey account.
I had tried every day 5 times per day for more than 1 month.

with the question "where will you reside in Canada", by filling in sponsor's address do you mean the whole address, like street name and all or just the city, as you filled in on the file IMM0008, question "where do you intend to live"?

No, you're just entering city and province.

Yesterday morning i got an email from immigration with my UCI number and my application number, i tried to link that to my online application but it says that i put some bad information and now its blocked for 24 hours, i dont know what to do because i put all the information correctly, i apply for the open work permit and the PR at the same time.

I don't know why doesn't work, but I have done mine exactly as is shown there. Other applicants have used other ways to link their account with Gckey. So try another way. Search in this forum for other ways.
