Why do you need birth certificate? Which check list asked for it? It is only need for a PR application of dependents, i.e. children who do not have NICs.

On that subject, what KMC issues as far as i remember is not a birth certificate. It's a birth registration FORM (similar to the one hospital issues you that you use to get a birth certificate) and doesn't have any legal value.
The title of the document is "Extract of Entries of City Register of Births in the Municipal Limits of Karachi"
It has info like date and time of birth, names of father, grandfather, mother, place of birth, born alive or dead, and it has details of which city register (number) the birth was entered in...

Again I am not absolutely sure about this, but I had a birth registration form from Karachi which had all of these things, date / time of birth etc. (I don't remember any city register there) and that document was a birth registration form - not accepted as proof of birth latter in life.

Actual birth certificate like the one from NADRA shouldn't and doesn't list too personal info like date and time or medical details like alive or dead. It just lists name, parents, and date of birth. The above extra details are either in the hospital issued birth document or this form that I mentioned above.

Either way, unless we are talking about a child here, CIC doesn't ask for birth certificate of grown up applicants as of now in PR applications.

Guys if anyone from Pakistan is required to give interview after his/her AOR, is the interview done in Islamabad or one needs to go to a designated Canadian embassy abroad?

Surely, islamabad. There have been mistakes in which people were asked the wrong embassy, but those are rare and can be corrected.

I assume "they" here means the nominating province and its related applicant and not the express entry application submitted to CIC?

Hi All,

I have received ITA last night but i need your help : as, i am working in Islamabad since, 2005 so technically i will have to provide a Police Certificate from Islamabad for the period i have lived, but the thing is on my ID Card i've the address of my hometown. i visited the SSP office here but they refused to issue a certificate until i get a police certificate from my district( will be issued till Saturday).while the person sitting in SSP office told me to provide a hell of documents which i dont think i can provide such as, lease agreements, etc ( as all my stay was in company provided accommodations), i have all the experience certificates but they never accepted:

Could anyone in this group help me or has gone through the similar situation, if any link/source i shall appreciate:

Kind regards:

Hello

I need an expert advice as i dont want to go to a consultant. hope you will help me out to clarify few things as i am also interested to move to Sasketchewan. I have done M Phil and have more than 5 years working experience as financial manager which comes under NOC 0111. I want to apply as principal applicant as i have more education and experience than my husband. my ielts is CLB 9. I am planning to apply next month as i have to do ECA yet. After getting my ECA from WES, i will have all the required documents to apply for immigration but I am so much confused regarding PNP. when i calculate my points they were around 432 so I need to have PNP in order to have achance for ITA. Can you tell me the exact procedure of applying for immigration? what is the first step? i mean do i have to make EE profile first and then apply for PNP?

There is some information in this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html
hope you find it useful. Create your EE profile after you get your ECA from WES - it is a very long process, so get it done asap. Also make sure you have the required funds ready.

This is very disturbing. Even I had to live in another city for my education for 4 years and even I won't have lease agreements etc as I was living in university hostel. Wonder what they will do in my case when my time comes InshAllah.

I think they should accept something in your case and you might have missed some of the details of what they said/wanted.

Habib Here.
I have learnt a lot of very tough lessons in this week. As I have to make PCC from UAE and for that purpose I have to make some documents. In last 5 days,I have visited Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Police HQ Chohang 20 KM Lahore, DIG Office LHR, MOFA LHR, MOFA Islamabad, FIA HQ islamabad, UAE Embassy and Sasha International.
And I want to tell that these all offices are filled with a** h**es. They will make you beg and cry.
However regarding your issue, PCC from other city. I m from Sahiwal and have studied in PU lhr so went to Lahore Judicial Courts, DIG office, DPO Office and E Khidmat Center. Although they made an objection in my application but now I know the way.
So first thing, Yes you can issue PCC from another city.
1. Get PCC from ur home city (be careful regarding your stay dates in PCC. Do not mention he dates for what you want to get a PCC from other city)
2. ID card, Passport (2 copies each attested), Blue background Pictures (3,4)
3. Affidavit (stamp paper)
4. PCC application (get application form from respective city's courts)

If there is an E Khidmat Center in that city, then submit all these there otherwise submit it to the DPO or DCO office.

In affidavit and PCC application form, write ur birth city from where u want to get PCC,and in Permanent and temporary address sections, write the addresses of the city from which u want to get PCC. (Not the ones in your ID card)

THis is the standard procedure

For your issue, I suggest you to get a letter from your company describing that u r living in company provided residence.
