CRS at 462, should I wait for ITA or try getting a LMIA/PNP?

Hello Everyone,
I will be applying under CEC as I just completed one year experience. My CRS stands at 462. I am super confused whether to try for LMIA/pnp or to just wait for the scores to come down. I dont want to spend money on pnps, or I would say I dont have that large amount at this time. My work permit is valid for two more years but at the same time I dont want to be stuck in wait for too long. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

You are definitely in a better position than many and will most likely get an ITA in the next 3-4 draws. There is of course no guaranteed way of knowing this, just an informed guess based on historical draws.

You should land an ITA with that score, without a PNP or LMIA, if not later in December, possibly before March, 2016.

Hi just wanted to say hang in there. I'm at 466 and living in Ontario. I am also looking at the PNP option, however I'm hopeful of getting an ITA in the next 3-4 draws.

Of course nothing guaranteed. We're both in the same position.

I agree with the opinions stated above. If $1500 is not an issue, you can definitely apply for PNP, but there's good chance you'd get ITA directly before your nomination is granted.

Well there is a high chance for you to get an ITA in the next 2-3 draws. So I would say start collecting the required documents as they would be useful in the next few weeks to apply to CIC, or end of 3rd week you can start applying for any PNPs to be on safer side, if the cut off in the next 2-3 draws are above 600.

My gut feeling says you should get an ITA soon. If I were you, I would start collecting my docs and wait for the ITA.

I just applied for PNP-Ontario and once ITA was received, I recalled my application. Since I haven't received AOR from PNP at that time, I got a full refund. I find it a bit unfair since they sorted out my documents and paid for the express delivery. I wish they took at least $100 from that cheque for all the work they've done and mail expenses.

Since the lowest draw so far bottomed out at 451, you will eventually get an ITA. But when it will happen is the question. Just ask yourself if you'd rather waste time (waiting for an ITA) or money ($1500 for OINP).

But processing time for OINP may take up to 5-6 months since they take a break in December and January.
