Hi Asivad Anac.. I have found your suggestions on different posts very useful. Request your suggestion on POF for my express entry application under FSWP.

Regarding POF, I dk not have entire money in my account. I am the primary applicant and my wife is accompanying spouse. I am happy to share the details of the funds available with me and my wife. I am having close to 4700 CAD in form of FD and these FDs were booked more than 6 months back. This 4700 CAD comprises of 3 FD's out of which 1 will be expiring in 2017, another in 2019 and last one in 2016. My wife is having close to 12000 CAD in form of 5 to 6 FD's and they also got booked more than 6 months ago and most of it would be expiring in 2017. This means a total of 16700 CAD whereas the requirement is approx 15000 CAD for two people. I have few queries related to this.

1. Can we show POF through FD's? If yes, then is there any restriction on expiry date of FD?
2. Secondly, if answer to first part of above question is yes, then can i show my wife FD's as POF with an affidavit from my wife that her FD money can be used by me for immigration purpose. Also she will be accompanying spouse, so I think she can show money for POF.

Yes to both. Nothing more conclusive as evidence than long term FDs.

my FD's are a month old so do i need to submit the proof from where the money came from. Because it is gifted by my spouse, parents and inlaws combined.

You'll need to provide conclusive evidence for all these gifts. Attach all possible bank transfer documentation.

It might be a silly question, but still want to know, Indian money in FD will be in Rupees, Do we need to ask bank to give a a letter consolidating all FD and convert it to Canadian dollars

Your bank will give it in the local currency. Conversion rate as on the date of letter will apply.

Guys i was refused at pnp level due to funds.
I never applied to cic .
So now i got ITA, im filling my application but there is no option for previous pnp rejection details.
I just select YES in questionnaires about rejection at pnp level.
Should i upload previous pnp rejection letter.
Checklist dnt ask for it And even no section for refusal letters.

If you are sure the checklist doesn't ask for it, I don't see why you would need to uphold the letter.

Yes. Provided the account is in your name or you get a signed self-declaration from the joint holder that they have no reservations against you utilizing these funds as your POF.

The account is in my name and the bank account in which I have FD is more than 2 years old. I have a good account history as well.
