Good Morning Everyone!!!! Hope everyone is doing well!! Love the positive pumped up messages and I hope we are going to hear some more news for you guys from Havana soon. Shuster.....grrrrrr......what more can one say. Frustration must be oozing out your ears........so close....he will be here before Christmas you can count on that!!!
So ladies between having no computer, having a husband at home, working overtime and getting ready for my daughters wedding I am about to drop dead!! I have so much to do and no time anymore.......and I miss writing and chatting on this forum.....hoping my laptop will be ready today for me to pick up and then at least I will have some more time to devote to this forum.
My husband is busy putting out resumes and working out and cooking. He is really liking Canada and the food so far but really wants a job. I told him just keep plugging away it will happen. It is a process here and with this time of year work is not so available---especially were I live.
Pretty much packed for the Dominican. Scott my youngest is pretty much packed...Nick the second youngest is not even close and my Bobby my oldest well I don't even know if he owns a suitcase!!!! Call me stressed!!! I pick up my daughter's wedding dress on Thursday and I have here marriage documents stowed safely in my carry-on!!! I have to leave Yoani for the week because he cannot leave Canada with his PR card or they won't let him back in. So I am trying to familiarize him with everything before I go and leave notes but man.............he is sorta looking forward to having the entire house to himself for the week and the computer......so that is good. He was very excited on Sunday when he was able to get on the internet and pick up his baseball game from Matanzas and he seen some familiar faces in the stadium. That made him really happy that he can still get his cuban baseball games!!!!
He is still studying to write his driver's written test and will take that when I get back from the wedding.
Not much else going on....LOL......talke to everyone soon.....besos!!!!

DDG- You have to fill out IMM5563, hubby has to fill out IMM5475, pay the fee and send it off! You get it about 30 days after you sent for it. I got it after 15 days the first time, but there was nothing in it at all so maybe thats why it was quick.

KJG-- I cant feel the anxiety of everything you have to do thru ur post! haha It will allll get done and you will have an amazing time at ur daughter's wedding! Just sucks you have to leave hubby behind, but he'll be fine! The computer alone can entertain him for days and days! lol

Hmmm im not quite sure, but there is another form for 'use of a representative'. So maybe in your case you would need the 3 forms? Maybe someone else with experience in this can let you know...

I am so excited for you rainbow...I just know you are going to get news this week! I'm still at work so I haven't made the next move since getting word my wife and I can skip the interview, but I will start the process very soon. Very interested in hearing all the news and interesting tidbits of what happens after landing. I wasn't sure if the PR gave them the ability to travel to and from Canada or not. I take it from KJG's post that they are not. Does it also mean they can't go back and forth to Cuba for a visit??? I also will have to leave my spouse at home when I go away to work and find your anecdotes a great source for forethought. Thankyou KJG.
