2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Other guy here reported wait three months. You never know, its like a kind of bad or good luck
I can’t see Fd, I received the P1 two months after my husband’s was confirmed.
Hi everyone,
I’ve finally decided to pursue a mandamus application because I honestly feel like I have no other options left. I submitted my PR application as a Protected Person in March 2023, and I’ve been waiting for approximately 43–44 months. I’ve also been stuck in comprehensive security screening for about 19 months.
My eligibility and criminality checks have been completed, but my security screening is still ongoing. I’ve contacted IRCC and my MP’s office multiple times, but unfortunately, I still haven’t received a decision.
This long wait has seriously affected my life and my ability to plan for the future. I feel that I need to take legal action rather than continue waiting indefinitely.
Before moving forward, I would really appreciate your advice?????

How you know if your security under comprehensive or not
When I ask the IRCC and ask them if my security under comprehensive
Thy always say nothing mention
How I need to know
Because if really comprehensive security take that long. I’ll leave this country
I’m away from my children for 5 years now
I’ll not wait 2 years more for no hope
Did you applied gcms notes from ircc ?
When you get notes you can see sooo long time my friend
Sorry, I don’t know when my Fd was approved, because I wasn’t able to link my aplication to my GCKey; everything was handled through a representative.
I really sorry to hear that but I think mandamus it’s the only way now for you…
