Need help Protected person

My Protected Person PR application was submitted on May 15, 2024. Today, the current status briefly changed from “Submitted” to “Profile Updated,” but there were no visible changes inside the application no eligibility not final decision ..When go back it changed back to “Submitted.”



Has this happened to anyone else? If so, did you receive any update or progress afterward? What happened next?

Eligibility July 2024
Medical passed
Criminality passed
Security 1 started 2023 September
Security cbsa received 2025 march
2026 January on going ss
2025 October on going ss
This result from April atip 2026
I applied again I am waiting what can I do I don’t know I am very tired total process 43 months now (under cbsa comprehensive security in 19 months now)

My permanent residence application has been in process for approximately 43 months, (security by cbsa received time 2025 march) and I understand that my security assessment is still ongoing. I have contacted IRCC, submitted web forms, sought assistance from my Member of Parliament, and recently submitted a Privacy Act request to CBSA to obtain records concerning my security assessment.
I do not want to make excuses or ask for special treatment. I understand that security assessments are important and must be conducted properly. I am simply asking for help because I genuinely do not know what else I can do.Despite all these efforts, I still have no clear information about when this process might end.To be completely honest with you, this uncertainty has seriously affected my emotional well-being. I spend a large part of my days searching online forums, looking for people whose situations resemble mine. I keep checking whether someone who applied around the same time has received an update, hoping to find even a small reason to believe that my turn might finally come. I wake up wondering whether today will be the day my security assessment is completed, and I go to sleep with the same unanswered question.

Thank u !! I I don't see any update because my Husband had a representative but he already has his residence permanent card; I am his dependent.
My husband received his card on September 10th. I am his spouse; I was included in his application, but IRCC did not link me to his portal. Now, two months later, I have received my P1.

I’ve been in this forum since 2019, and I think fewer than 10 people have reported receiving an FD after undergoing comprehensive security. A couple of people on Reddit were forced to file for mandamus and got results after a couple of months. I recommend consulting with an experienced immigration lawyer first, but that’s the only way for now!

What is happening is that it does not depend on you or your efforts. Everything depends on the IRCC officer who reviews your file from time to time. I understand you perfectly, because there are many questions that have no answer, but I can tell you that before long, you will be done with this, I wish you good luck with this!

For me took one month!

Like anything else, it is based on some random sh*t! Someone got their P1, P2 and ecopr in 4 days and someone like you have waited over a month. They just like to torture us until the very last day

What is happening is that it does not depend on you or your efforts. Everything depends on the IRCC officer who reviews your file from time to time.
