42 months doesnt make sense for ontario.
what was the reason of this huge delay?

today I continue 41 months and my profile in Ontario with IRCC. everything is make sense.

Have you thought of filing for mandamus? 41 months and no FD is a very long wait time. I suggest you talk to some lawyers to see your next possible steps if you haven't already. I am also passing 33 months and no response I was thinking to file for court but 41 months is wild!!!!!

If it’s an emergency trip, I would contact IRCC as soon as possible rather than just waiting. IRCC specifically says to contact them if you plan to travel before receiving your e-COPR. Explain the emergency clearly and provide supporting documents, such as a doctor’s letter or proof of travel, if available. Hopefully they can assist you before your trip. Also, e-COPR is important because it confirms your PR status, but for returning to Canada by commercial transportation after travelling abroad, you generally need a valid PR card or, if you are already outside Canada, a PRTD.

I did that but they said that you have to wait, I don't know what do I do in this condition?

I ask my lawyer he say I don’t advise to do it and also it’s take 1 to 1.5 years
And during this time thy don’t tutch your file

I think a formal demand letter sent by the lawyer before filing a mandamus application could be effective.

I think 41 42 now it’s regular im in 37 September 2023 , and no FD yet, and just told me 1 month left.
It’s really exhausting.
New people 13 months we 37-40 months it's not fair

38 months and waiting. We have people from May 2023 who is still waiting. Everything makes sense in the IRCC circus

Usually they settle with one formal letter because they're scared of being fined. I would talk to more lawyers because you have waited long enough. You must take action and help people who apply after you as well.

It's not fair. I am also waiting for 33 months and I am afraid I will have to wait for 40 months above just like you guys. We must take action they can't just leave us in this unknown state forever. I would advise talking to lawyers to see if mandamus will help because we have waited long enough. I see people who applied way ahead of us are receiving their final decision we must hold them accountable for this.

The lawyer told me mandamus takes around 1 year as well. Another thing is 2024 people are getting PR and I don’t know the reason of stopping us.
From the frist of the year they only worked for 2 or 3 months , whole year was slowly and stopped

No dependents ouside no government job

I am an applicant from August 2023. My military service certificate was requested on July 18, and I submitted it the same day. I still haven’t received any updates.

According to the response from the Deputy, “Security assessments are continuing.”

Has anyone received their PR after submitting their military service certificate?

Exactly same as you i asked for military exemption on 17 june nothing untill now. September 2023
