Ur application is now more than 3 years old. IRCC says that if an application is beyond the normal processing time, you can contact IRCC through the web form to ask about it. U could send an IRCC webform asking for a status update and explaining that the application was submitted in June 2023 and FD is still pending.
I did and this was their reply “
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible. Even if you haven’t heard from us recently, we’re still processing your application. You don’t need to do anything else. If we need more information, we’ll contact you.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.”

There are a few things I am wondering about. I am trying to understand the logic behind this irrational decision.

Does your application file contain sufficient identification documents to verify your identity?
Do you have a history of military or government service?
Which country are you from?
Did you arrive in Canada via crossed border? Did you experience similar delays during the asylum process?

and I hope your process is completed quickly.
The file is complete and no additional documents were requested.
No history of military
Yemen
I arrived through USA but the official border point
My asylum was approved in 10 months

As far as I know, Yemen is one of the countries with fast processing times for asylum claims; however, the fact that it is the country of origin and the point of entry might be prolonging the security screening. That is just my guess.

I imagine that if the file contains the original passport, identity details, etc., it might shorten the security screening process.

However, sending repeated webforms often results in the same template response unless there is a substantive change or an MP inquiry.

Hi there,

I’m in the situation like you, have you received any updates?
My husband received the physical card yesterday, but we dependents got nothing.
He called IRCC today, and the officer told him that there are two months left for the dependents.
We still don't understand why.
He received..
P1 - 7/August
P2- 11/August
eCorp- 20/August
Tarjeta- 10/ Sept

Applicant’s Dependents - nothing
