I did my hearing a week ago, my claim was flagged for file review initially but later scheduled for virtual hearing. It lasted for not to an hour and the member said the decision will be communicated to me via my counsel in two weeks
The length of a hearing can vary considerably depending on the issues in the claim and what the member needed to clarify. When did you have your hearing?

I have same issue
I have been waiting since June 5 2026 after my hearing was held no decision. Now it’s 3 months without nothing yet..
Still don’t know how long this can take.. any idea from anyone… have we seen anybody that waiting for more than 6 months, does a longer waiting period means a good sign or otherwise?
Dnt worry . For me it took 7 months plus. I know how stressful it is. No one can push a judge to give decision early. Thats what register told me.

Hello brother,
I have been worried for over 3 months of not getting decision after my hearing..
Could you please share your timeline with me and where did your hearing took place and who was your member..
Mine is Robert Cox from Montreal(member) and I held it via zoom in Toronto.

Thanks in anticipation

It’s from western Canada. Calgary I think. I forgot his name.

He said it will take couple of weeks to know about the decision. But weirdly he took 7 long months to write down the decision. Contacted register multiple times. But it was not helpful.

Thanks

It does appear that there were potential issues with your application and that you have a criminal record so that could potentially lead to many questions requiring follow-up. That could take some time. Your lawyer is the one who could provide better insight regarding this issue.
