Sorry it was a typo from me it’s actually Aug 14thIs it 17th written on your eCoPR?
They can still be granted PR as dependants. The important point is that, for protected persons, the child’s age is generally based on the date the refugee claim was received by IRCC/CBSA, not their age years later when the PR application is processed. Please someone should answer this question. My anxiety is rising.
For a protected-person application in Quebec, the fact that your dependants were not named in the IRCC instruction letter is important, but it does not automatically mean they are excluded from PR. U would not submit another CSQ application blindly or assume the dependants are excludedSince Quebec is saying they need an IRCC instruction for the dependants, the best step is simply to ask IRCC whether separate CSQ instructions will be issued for them. Thanks for your assurances. My anxiety meter is going down.
My second question is that will they also need to submit CSQ from Quebec? I was asked to submit but the instruction letter from IRCC didn't list my dependants.
Notwithstanding, I made a request for all three of us but Quebec is saying that only my CSQ can be issued since they weren't listed on my instruction letter as dependants.
Anxiety meter rising again fast.
P2 submitted on July 27 for inland dependent; still no ECOPR. Although the primary applicant got ECOPR on AUG 04, ANYBODY has the similar situation?Just received eCOPR
P1 July 29th
P2 August 7th
Still waiting for inland Dependent's eCOPR; is that normal to not receive it at the same time as Principal applicant?
Yes, this situation can happen. The principal applicant received eCOPRb does not necessarily mean an inland dependant will receive theirs at the same time. IRCC says that after P2/confirmation, uploading the eCOPR can take up to a few weeks. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...immigrate-canada/pr-confirmation-portal.html?P2 submitted on July 27 for inland dependent; still no ECOPR. Yes. you could wait a few more business days. “In review by IRCC” doesn’t necessarily mean the PR card hasn’t started processing. You should give it several business days to a couple of weeks after P2 before escalating.Currently facing this exact situation, whole family got the ecopr within a few days of submitting the P2, inland dependent has a case created on the PR portal but no ecopr was issued yet, the entire action column for all family members still says “in review by IRCC”, photos and addresses are still not confirmed for family members who received the PR, so I am also assuming they haven’t started processing the card but I may be wrong, I am really hoping it is issued asap just so this chapter of life is finally closed, Im wondering if I should escalate by emailing the P1 email or submitting a webform if the wait continues
Hi, should the lock in date be the refugee claim date or the PR application date? They will. The lock-in date is the exact day IRCC receives a complete permanent residence application, which freezes a dependent child's age for the entire processing period. To qualify as a dependent child, the child must be under 22 years old on the lock-in date. They must also be unmarried or not in a common-law partnership. If your child meets this conditions, then you dont need to fear.
I responded both P1 and webform but nothing worksCurrently facing this exact situation, whole family got the ecopr within a few days of submitting the P2, inland dependent has a case created on the PR portal but no ecopr was issued yet, the entire action column for all family members still says “in review by IRCC”, photos and addresses are still not confirmed for family members who received the PR, so I am also assuming they haven’t started processing the card but I may be wrong, I am really hoping it is issued asap just so this chapter of life is finally closed, Im wondering if I should escalate by emailing the P1 email or submitting a webform if the wait continues
