can I go to Shoppers drug Mart and ask for “digital passport photo”?? Or are there any specifics to it? Just getting ready for P2. Also do I need the hard copies?

Your photo must be

• clear, sharp and in focus
• taken with a neutral facial expression (eyes open and clearly visible, mouth closed, no smiling)
• taken with uniform lighting, without shadows, glares or flash reflections
• taken straight on, with face and shoulders centred and squared to the camera
• taken in front of a plain white background with a clear difference between your face and the background
  • Photos must represent your natural skin tones.
• reflective of your current appearance (taken within the last 12 months)
• in a JPEG or PNG format
• between 715 × 1000 and 2000 × 2800 pixels
• no larger than 4MB
• taken by a professional photographer
• an original photo that is not altered in any way or taken from an existing photo

You can go to staples too. Ask for PR card photo. They know it. Ask for digital copy. You don't need hard copies.

Not everyone! I think Star and I are almost the original members of the thread, and neither of us has received fd yet

From what i heard 99% if not 100% of 2023 applicants gonna get their PR by end of this year under the one time initiative. Its just matter of few months. And you never know , maybe next month will be august applicants.

Don't be discouraged by that! My sister didn't even get the eligibility letter, literally no updates for 3 years (Jun 2023 applicant)
Her security started 2 weeks ago then got her P1 yesterday
Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon
