Indian passport surrender

Any recent BLS Toronto surrender certificate timelines? Applied in person May 29 status still says Application is under process at Indian Embassy/Consulate. Can see that last month the process was completed in 2-3 weeks.

Hi, where did you upload the documents?

I don't see an option to upload a foreign passport.

There are three sections. One is Annexure (which I don't think applies to me), another is the Documents section, but it only lists options like telephone bill, citizenship certificate issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, water bill, etc. I don't see any option for a foreign passport.

Should I upload all my documents under the Other section instead?

You can merge citizenship certificate and passport into one file then upload.

Hi, does the BLS-Brampton center ask for physical photographs for Surrender certificate applications?
If yes, how many do I need to take with me?

Also, if anyone has a checklist of what to take? Can you please share it here for BLS-Brampton? Thanks in advance

Toronto consulate (applied without Canadian Passport)

Postal Application applied: 21st April
Application delivered: 23rd April
BLS - in transit to consulate: 24th April
Passport seva - certificate under review: 27th April
Passport seva - certificate has been printed: 11th May
BLS - in transit from consulate: 12th May
BLS - ready for dispatch: 13th May
BLS - dispatched via courier: 13th May

How did you manage to send the postal application? I have called them at the Brampton office as it is required for postal applications, but no option in the automated message options. I contacted them through the Query page, and they replied to contact back via an agent within 24-48 hours. But I haven't received any call. Can you please help me?

+12894981320 call this number and go with the first option new application. I think BLS is still accepting application via postal for passport surrender app not OCI applicaiton.
