Visitor visa - First name and surname swapped in biometric letter

Hello, I am having the same issue of given name and surname swap in BIL. My biometric appointment is after 2 days. I have raised webform but haven't received any update till date. Can you please tell me if this issue has caused any problem in biometric process?.

It won’t. Just tell them to update your name according to your passport when you go for biometrics at VFS. They will do it, and that will be sufficient.

Was the process the same for you? Did you proceed with the BIL even though your names were swapped, and did the biometric centre update it for you, with IRCC subsequently updating their records as well?

Could you please confirm? I submitted a webform last week but haven't received a response yet.

Yes. I informed regarding my first name and surname switch on Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) to the staff. And they then register my biometrics according to name printed on my passport. And that didn't cause any issues during biometric process. So inform your biometric centre beforehand to avoid any inconveniences and you can also contact and confirm regarding this by calling the centre which you intend to visit for your biometrics.
However, I haven't got any updates from IRCC yet.
