Hi everyone! I did not receive portal email yet. I’ve heard it’s normal and not everyone receives it the day after decison.

I even received gcms notes and everything passed and my pr approved.

What do you guys think?

If I were you, I would send a webform to IRCC and ask them that you did not received your P1. While based on available data and common experience it takes from 1 to 6 weeks (not an exact time) to have P1 after Final Decision.

Thank you very much for your message. Actually I’ve done webform too. And called them many times. Contacted to my MP. But just wait.

That’s ok if it may take time. I’ll wait. Because I don’t know why I was thinking everyone gets it the day after the decison. Thanks again.

May 2023: Applied
October 2023: I got an email requesting a specific document from my home country.
August 2024: I applied for my SIN renewal and I got an email saying "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a Protected Person."
Final decision - June 30, 2026: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Applied for PR June 2023, first ghost update June 1 and second was yesterday July 3. Really hoping FD will follow soon!

You should have your final decision today or tomorrow.

Checked my GC key this morning July 6th, 2026 and saw the below.

No medical completed, Biometrics, security or anything completed.


Total wait time 3 years,1 month and 1 week approximately.

How long are they going to drag this out?

I already reached out to my MP, but it was useless as IRCC stated they are processing applications on a first-in, first-out basis. However, it doesn't seem like they are doing that since 2024 applicants are getting their PR, or our friends who applied at the same time or even later than us got their PR. I was thinking of escalating this to court. Their dashboard has also been stuck on a number of people in front of us without any changes. Where is the damn transparency? Seriously, this is just BS. How can a country run like that? So messy, so chaotic.
