Can I use Ontario Photo ID card as a 2nd proof ( I am providing PR card for 1st proof ) as I don't have a driving license?
If yes, can you tell me which choice do I select from below if I am providing Ontario Photo ID card?

Select the ID you want to provide:
☐ Driver’s licence
☐ Health insurance card
☐ Age of majority card
☐ Senior citizen identification card

Yes, the ontario photo card is the exact equivalent of the driver's licence or age of majority card (which no longer exists, it was replaced by the ontario photo card.)

As you read and asked about in the other thread. Same answer here as there.

Thanks @armoured
I wasn’t clear on the option that I would select? Could you please reconfirm if I should select Driver’s license or Age of majority card?

I don't think it makes a whit of difference, but personally I'd go with the age of majority card.

@armoured We applied for citizenship as a family from Ontario and submitted my wife’s valid Ontario Photo ID card. She recently got a Ontario G1 licence in May 2026, which cancelled the Ontario Photo ID as we can keep only one either Photo ID or Driving licence.
We received AOR this week in Jun end. Do we need to update IRCC or is it fine? Just worried if this may cause any issue or delay the process.

i do not think you need to update IRCC. When you applied, you only have photo id, and what happens afterwards does not matter.

I agree as above with what @natnanns suggested, don't think it's needed. But I'm also curious - could you advise if the Driver's License # is the same as the Ontario Photo ID # your wife had before?

Don't post the #s of course. I'm just curious. And as was noted, it was a valid ID at the time and I shouldn't think there'll be any issue.

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, the Driver's License# is different than the cancelled Ontario Photo ID # and the Photo ID was valid at the time of submission till 2027.
