I applied for my PR in Sept 2023 along with my family who are outside Canada.
We’ve received biometrics in Dec. 2023 and eligibility to apply for PR and a pre-arrival letter in June 2024.
I recently had a conversation with the IRCC, and they said my medical is already exempted and my security is going on.
Criminality is done, and they’re at the information-sharing stage.
How much do you think they’d need to reach my final decision stage?

the timing is what we all dont know. we are all hoping it will be soon. I am november 2023 and i just got my eligibility in January 2026

Please don't think that collective actions like this don't change anything. Raising our voices together is worth trying and infinitely better than staying silent in administrative limbo. This is a clear breach of procedural fairness, and we deserve answers.

Once we gather a substantial number of signatures (targeting at least 100 as a first milestone), I will be formally sending this petition, along with a detailed brief, to a large list of MPs (Members of Parliament) to spotlight this systemic 2023 backlog crisis.
How you can support right now:
1. Contact Your Local MP: I highly encourage everyone to find their local MP and email them our initiative maybe after receiving 100 sign. Let them know that their constituents are facing severe professional and personal stagnation because of IRCC's neglect.
2. Keep the Pressure Up on Social Media: I am personally leaving a comment with our petition updates under official IRCC posts and sharing it across various groups. Please support me by doing the same in your networks!

We need to protest ! Or maybe we will need to wait until 2100
Please share this petition link in all refugee PR Telegram groups, Facebook groups, and other social media platforms. The more people who sign and support it, the stronger our voice will be and the better chance we have of being heard.

- Pre Arrival : December 21 , 2024
- Eligibility letter : December 17, 2024
- Medical : Completed (expired)
- Info Sharing : Not Yet Started
- Criminality : in progress
