If your dependents are in your country of origin, I think they will request them for it. You are exempt because it is country of persecution but as they are not considered protected persons or in risk, so they are not exempt.

i think it depends on overseas visa office can you tell which vo is processing your dependent file

Do you mind telling me how you did the upfront medical for your dependent? I’m also August 2024 applicant and so far they only requested for Biometrics and DNA test for my dependents and if I can do the Upfront medical maybe it could reduce the wait time a little bit. Thanks!

Just book with the panel physician and when you get there tell them the kind of application and mention it’s upfront
At the end of exams you get an e-sheet medical and you submit to IRCC, they will link to file
Can you please share dependents timeline with dates
I only had one request after my eligibility in march
Which was proof of relation etc
And then work up to pre arrival today

It’s not, Medicals wasnot requested .

And then I got pre-arrival for dependent today

For my dependents, pre arrival was send next day I got ecopr.
Medical need to be done when they send the requested because they give a number (ime#).
