2024 PR Application timeline

[God please help]

I submitted my application in January, but I still haven't received P1 yet. I don't have any dependents. Is anyone else with a January application and no dependents still waiting after all this time?

Oh I didn’t know this. I guess I asked the wrong question, and the agent English was a bit compromised so I didn’t ask more questions

Call them again and ask about criminality info sharing and security separately they will tell you

Last week ircc sent me a letter that I need to submit a police clearance certificate from my home country, but I’m already a protected person in Canada and waiting for my PR. I don’t feel safe contacting anyone back home to request it. What are my options now?

Send a letter of explanation and leave it at that

i got certificate but did not submit just i submitted only my wife certificate only is it ok?

you will get your P1 within a week or two maximum!

I got a ghost update, I called and they told me security is “in progress” after being not started since April 2024, I usually see people posting here being told security is done after the ghost update, anyone has the same situation as me?
