I received the letter for my dad. Do we need to provide all of the documents listed, or only the ticked ones on the checklist? In our case, only the police clearance box is ticked. Thank You

Quick question
A friend revived same letter
With police clearance ticked
She has not lived in any other country but home country and Canada , how is she supposed to get one from a country where she is persecuted?
Will a LOE be sufficient .
2024 didnot get these letters 2025 applicants are getting
Wondering if something changed

They can just submit a letter of explanation. Protected persons do not need to submit a police clearance from their home country, as this will be looked at as re-availment.

THIS IS A BATCH NOTE: We mentioned that the government is currently "batch processing" to melt the files inside, this is the official proof of it. The officer automatically processed this note to a single person, but to hundreds of files in that group at the same time.
So we can say that the acceleration has started

Checklist email received from IRCC - June 2026
I have submitted the requested documents via IRCC web forms last Friday except police certificate (I provided an explanation letter for this)

I suppose it's another long wait☺️
Goodluck everyone!
How they react on your explanation

Are you able to provide police certificate again ?

Do you ever submit police certificate ?
No, its not needed and I misread the information. They are basically giving you a chance to update any information just incase anything changed since you last submitted the forms before the next stage of your application to avoid any future delays.

Then why they specificaly ask about pcc

Hello Community..
I have received the email from IRCC earlier today...

In the email: (..... In order to avoid delays in processing, you must provide the below documents if you have not already included them in the original submission and/or if there are any updates to the information that was provided by you previously....)

I think this is simply normal. IRCC knows that it has been almost a year (for me almost 10 months) since they received our applications.. therefore they're sending this to everyone just in case there are any updates that need to be brought to IRCC's attention..

I don't think that it will be a bad idea to re-submit the whole thing again..
For me, I have recently submitted all these forms for my family (dependents outside Canada).. so I can add the forms related to me as well.. and send everything again..

==============================
Since so many of us (PR applicants June to August 2025) have received the same letter.. this makes me somehow optimistic..
I have a feeling that IRCC is finally moving ahead with the one-time initiative.. fingers and toes crossed :)

Let's do our part.. provide them with whatever they request.. and then wait..

IRCC definitely CAN process ~7,000 PR applications per month.. It is only the WILL..
A PR process for economic immigrant streams can be completed within as short as 6 months..

No that I want to be too optimistic.. but I think we are getting there.. and the estimated processing times will be somehow REAL.
Do you receive BIL ?
