I am currently only sponsoring my mom for PR as my dad could not come to Canada at that time. Therefore, I just stated him as non accompany dependent but he pretty much had the same forms filled like my mom.
Currently we are in the stage where I passed sponsorship eligibility check and they both passed medical and my mom did her biometrics. Now waiting for next steps. But now situation has changed and my dad can now come to Canada.
I am wondering if it is still doable in this stage of progress, if anyone has run into the similar thing before? How can I add him to the same application and will this delay the process?

Please I really need some advise ASAP so I can proceed quickly.

Thank you so much! Hope we all can Unite with our family.

Maybe contact IRCC via the web form to ask the question based on a change in situation?

Hmm you got the eligibility letter based on the number of people you sponsor in your application excluding the non-accompanying members. Asking to add your father at this stage might not be feasible.

However, I got additional documents request for my step mother who is a non-accompanying member in my father application and the letter states clearly that if I wish to add her to the application as an accompanying member, I need to pay her fees and include the extra documents needed for her.

Best thing you can do is to send a webform, they respond within few days otherwise wait till your mother has her PR she can proceed with spouse sponsorship.
