I am early May and i just checked my GC account, and i found this, ( We need additional documents to continue processing your application , We will send you a message with more details ) but i have not received anything from them, Please advise what this means. Thanks guys

Some people say thats a "ghost" update. It's flashing. If you dont check everyday, you missed it because it disappears quickly.
I remind I saw something like that in my portal when logged in, but when I went back to the main screen, it disappeared. And my portal arrived like one week later.

Did they ask you anything from beginning?

For me they asked 2.5 years ago but still says same thing.

Hi, can anyone on this platform share their security screening timeline for a Protected Person PR application in Canada?

For me took 3 weeks. I knew it when compared my dependents atip note and my final decision date.

they did ask, It has always been additional documents uploaded, now it changed, even background part changed too, what did they ask you 2 years ago?

They do go over everything again when finalizing. For me, the eligibility was reviewed and passed one day after the final decision

This is good sign you will receive an update soon .

I checked my GCkey too just now and I saw the ghost update. It shows PR application/profile updated. When i clicked it, everything there was in process.

When i returned back to the home page, it changed back to submitted. ( and no longer application/profile updated.

Timeline.
PR application submitted May 29th,2023
Received eligibility letter in 2024
Pre-Arrival in 2025

Hopefully the good news drops in the coming days, its been 3yrs waiting.
