Do any of you guys who have received P1 and P2 and are now awaiting eCOPR have dependants overseas? If so, were they contacted to complete medicals?

I received ecopr, my dep abroad received additional docs the day i got eligibility in April. Nothing since

My spouse got eligibility in May 2025 and me a dependent overseas got prearrival letter and since then nothing. its very stressing and frustrating

I know someone who already received P1 and P2 in Canada and at the same time his spouse and dependent son were still in their home country also received medical request couple months ago. Main applicant in Cananda received his PR card week ago. yesterday spouse and the dependent received their Passport Request (PPR).

Was he Nov 2024 applicant ?

no, he was 2023 applicant. not sure which month he applied.

Thanks for clarification. Date of application is an important factor. I am also Nov 2024 applicant so far only biometric done. I also have overseas dependent. Hoping for some miracle.

I’m in the same boat bro, August 28 2024 applicant .. so far only biometrics done and since then radio silence… have overseas dependents too.

Question my ecopr is only valid for 2 years ? Shouldn’t it be 5 years ?

Ecopr is usually 1 or 2 years. After 24 hours, link your pr application to gckey the doc number will show there for pr card

I already have linked my application on gc key or is there a different application number I have to link
