PR card renewal - mail not received

Below is my time line for my PR card renewal :

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 27, 2026.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 11, 2026.
3. We started processing your application on March 11, 2026.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on March 25, 2026.

However I still have NOT received my card by mail ? Any similar experience? Is it normal ? What’s your advice ?

My card was mailed March 23, 2026 but card not received as of today April, 28. Did you already receive your card?

It’s not unusual, but it is a bit longer than normal if your card was mailed on March 25 and you still haven’t received it. Sometimes PR cards arrive within 1–3 weeks, but mail delays do happen. I’ve seen people wait several weeks after the “sent by mail” update, especially if there were postal delays or address issues.


First thing I’d do is double-check that the mailing address on file is correct. If your address is fine, I would give it a little more time if it has only been a few weeks. But if it’s been over 6 weeks since March 25, I’d contact immigration and ask about it because sometimes cards get returned or lost in the mail.


You can also check whether anyone else at your address has had mail issues recently. Since your application shows “card sent by mail”, that usually means it was approved and printed, so this sounds more like a delivery issue than a processing problem.
