When I get my AOR it’s only for me I don’t receive anything for my family even thy never tutch thy file when I ask thy always says after I get my PR then thy file will start
Is this different from what you get guys ?
I’m almost give up my wife and kids thy say we don’t need it any more just come back
There is a pilot program. Some countries are included, others not. If your country is included, they will ask for some documents of your family. But you must get PR before they get their PR, could take some months after you.
Look in the ircc webpage about the pilot and which countries are included.

I requested for my husband file, and I received it the day before to got the portal1.
In that document appears principal applicant started security. But in my ircc account never showed security started.

Im not sure if agents can see it or they just are not allowed to tell. Honestly every time I called, I felt like I lost my time.
Based on your experience, could you please let me know when IRCC usually requests documents for an overseas spouse, such as proof of relationship, birth certificate, and forms like IMM0008 and Schedule A, etc?

My husband didnt received AOR. You the principal applicant receive it. He will receive a notification that he was added to this PR application and if you are in the oilot they ask for documents to add to his file and children if you have. As my country is in the pilot program, this is my experience. I dont know what happens if your country is not in thd list. Maybe they ask documents to family until you get PR. But im not sure about that. Maybe other person can share experience.
Hi! Good morning! No we did not receive anything. Still info sharing in progress and security has not started. Last we sent proof of relationship they asked from my partner and my partner received pre arrival (passed eligibility). We both received. I also received eligibility letter. This was around September 2024. That’s all.
Our pr application is may 30th, 2023.
your situation is the same as me security not started and my dependent is inside Canada and we also received Eligibility in Aug 2024 , I hope all of us will receive good news soon, it almost 36 months waiting .
Mu dependent is in Canada with me. Looks like they are working on their case like mine. They treat like main applicant. Everything is same as mine. We both received in 2 weeks. 2024.
