Hi guys, has anyone been able to obtain a Chinese visa here before with RTD (no PR).

Yes, China can issue visas to holders of RTD, but not having PR makes it much harder, and approval is case by case.

RTD obviously. I just sent in a new application. I wonder what the processing has been lately? Two years ago it took them 4 months for my RTD.

All RTD applications are usually get mailed to Gatineau in Quebec where they get processed.

Also I called them today and she told me it's mailed out yesterday and she give me tracker number from canada post but not working in website tracker.what about you

Hi this just happened to me too did you eventually get your old RTD back ? If so what was the procedure to get it

It only becomes active once the package is physically scanned by Canada Post or latest within 2 business days.

There are several ways to travel to the Dominican Republic without a visa:

• Have a valid Canadian multiple-entry visa.
• Have Canadian Permanent Residence.
• Have a Canadian Refugee Document.
• Have a valid U.S. visa.

If you have any of these documents, you can travel to the Dominican Republic without needing an additional visa.

Hello there,

I got my 2nd RTD, at the time of application I requested to send me back the existing old RTD cause there is valid US visa. Unfortunately, they didn't gimme the old one back, sent only the new one. Immediately I called IRCC and the agent told me he would request the authority to send it back. I raised a web form as well but I don't what should I do at this moment. Do they usually send through a different mail?
