hey can you tell your spouse overseas timeline ?

I requested notes on 2024. But nothing changed. We received submitted on August 2023, AOR on October 2023. Submitted additional documents on Nov, pay biometric fee on that month. After that, nothing.

Not. Even for me. I passed eligibility and I knew it because of the notes.

Outland (spouse overseas) about 10–12 months, If you declared your spouse when you claimed refugee status, you can include them through the One-Year Window (OYW) program.

Is not possible to link. I tried a d research. The only way to know how is goi g, request notes.

That’s what I explained in my post. There’s no option to link overseas dependants to the main applicant’s GCKey account.

Thank you. I now have a clear understanding of my situation under the protected person stream with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
I understand that the principal applicant can link their application through GCKey.

Dependent children who are processed in Canada usually appear under the principal applicant’s file.

A spouse who is residing outside Canada is processed as an overseas dependant.

Applications for overseas dependants are often not eligible to be linked through GCKey under this category.
However, the spouse’s application remains internally connected to the principal applicant’s file. Processing continues even if the application is not visible online.

The spouse will receive direct communication from the responsible visa office, such as medical or passport requests, when required.

That’s what I explained in my post. There’s no option to link overseas dependants to the main applicant’s GCKey account.

My spouse overseas was contacted to give biometrics and send additional forms. But they sent email to him. Not to me.

IRCC often treats each applicant separately, even though the application is still linked internally under one principle application. But dependants (spouse), IRCC may use the email listed for that person in the application forms.
