You are correct. We need MPs to support us. Do you know that we are only 20,000 applicants? We could easily receive PR within a four-month based on current quota. We represent only about 15% of all cases, yet they skipped us. We are living in a very difficult situation because of our refugee status.

another hypothesis ircc is literally waiting for Bill C-12 to pass, bill is in its final stage and might be passed at the beginning of March. After that they may expedite the processing.

C12 is not relevant to PR applicants. It mainly applies to refugee claimants. Please read it carefully first.
I have read it and watch all meetings and I haven’t found a single point for pr applicants
Then why IRCC is not working protected persons PR applications they are waiting for what?
There's no such thing as "not working." There are people who are gettinh Final decisions during this process, but the acceleration mentioned hasn't started yet, I think they're making the necessary investments and systematic adjustments. Someone in forum said the acceleration would start in April, they might be working on some systematic changes.
They are working, but very slowly. Last month, they issued only 200 PRs. I heard in this group that they have already issued PRs to some 2024 applicants, including some who applied in the middle of 2024.
They might have already started, but not in chronological order. We need to ask them to process applications chronologically by filing petitions and contacting our MPs.
I think the date (April) is not accurate. How does he know that date? What is the source? I am pretty sure they have already started, but unfortunately not on a first-come, first-served basis. I think they might issue PR to some 2024 and 2025 applicants before us because their security checks from their previous refugee applications are still valid. For most 2023 applicants, those security checks and other checks have already expired because we have been waiting for almost three years.

now a days, some people are getting final decisions, due to some cases are straightforward (clean background checks, no dependents, no travel history).
some visa offices or case processing centers move faster than others. and Canada’s fiscal year starts April 1. Departmental funding, staffing allocations, and targets often align with the new fiscal year. so we would expecting following new hires, Redistributing protected person PR files, Internal system updates & Backlog reduction initiatives
