If you feel comforting sharing more information it would be really interesting to know the whole story. Those of us who volunteer on this forum often don’t get to hear about the outcomes or these types of cases even if we hear about the initial phases.

Hi.just seeking some informaion.we had PR in 2005 . After 4 or 5 months landing in canada we moved back to our country while my daughter was a child as a minor. Now she is 19 and wishes to come back to canada. I know that she must apply for PRTD. I wish to know if applying PRTD will be positive. after entering to canada how long should she stay in canada .... I have read having prtd should stay for two years without permission to go back to her country.
Could u please guide me ?
Thanks
The person in question from the information given was just an infant . So no connection to Canada aside being here four to five months.
And wanting the individual to come to Canada and then leave again.
Don’t know why the father is surprised it was denied or why they’d even think about wasting money to appeal
Literally zero connection to Canada.
To the father , if PR was all that important why wasn’t anything done in the close to two decades that has passed ?

Realistically as pointed out she has minimal connection to Canada. If she wants to move to Canada her best option is to try to qualify for PR on her own.

Hire an immigration lawyer. This is going to be an uphill battle with low chances of success given your family never really established themselves in Canada after getting PR.

Agree but at a certain point they really need to evaluate whether it makes sense to spend more money depending on their savings level. Appears as though IRCC is getting stricter about these types of cases.
