Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

Your passport has been printed and being forwarded to Embassy/Consulate. The Embassy/Consulate will contact you once they receive the passport for dispatch.

Above is the application status I have seen for more than a week now.

Status shows that " print has been initiated for passport" since 14 th jan . One time it showed processing at the consulate. since last week it also shows that print has been initiated.
Any idea how long it will take ??

Hey Guys, need quick assistance, i applied for my passport renewal with BLS brampton on Dec 12,2025,
Status changed to Print has been initiated on Jan 23,2026.

Any idea how long is processing time after this, i also opted for courier delivery as i am in Vaughan.

Please advise as i have to travel mid Feb and confused if i should book my ticket. Thanks!!

I applied for my passport renewal on Dec 15th. Currently the status shows as "Passport application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate". No Police verification request email or local police station call as of today. What does the below line means

My application status is same as of today. No police verification initiated. BLS giving standard response. Any guidance to contact CGI Toronto? Email no response from CGI. Reaching out Regional Passport Office with CATXXXXXX will help?

Where is the passport coming from, like what’s thr timeline after this? I applied from BLS brampton.

Someone mentioned that it’s done only in Toronto, but mine was printed in India. It took about two weeks to ship back to Toronto, and then CGI Toronto released it to BLS Toronto. You can check my previous message for the full timeline.
