same here .. don’t know when they will start scheduling for us

Its frustrating to see oath getting completed for folks who got AOR in July. There should be a single window processing system, so that they process applications on a first-come first-serve basis, irrespective of where you apply from.

I see two upcoming oath dates for Kitchener: 11/24 and 12/1. Hope for the best!

Yes that’s true July AOR are getting oath dates in other cities …I think our files with Kitchener office

Just received my GCMS notes. My application was approved on 1st October and they sat on it for 6 weeks and gave me a date close to my travel dates. This is ridiculous and frustrating. Any ways good luck to everyone.

What information from your GCMS notes did you use to ask your MP what they could do to help?

I just used my resource center and the fact that it was listed as review ready for months but not even background was done.

Hi, which is your application processing office? I have a BG completed on same date as Aug 28, 205 as you. Hence asking. I am from Vancouver btw but i haven't requested GCMS, so don't know my office processing my app. Also LPP is not completed for me yet.

They didn’t tell me what they did or how, but they reached out to IRCC on my behalf. Some cases it works, but others tried it and got nothing or were stated to wait for the expected wait time before they could reach out. Depends how much resources they are willing to give.

But, if the Kitchener office did receive our files, the status of oath ceremony should have changed to "In progress" isn't it ?

Yes true … I called ircc agent one month ago and told me the file on the local office after the lpp completed .

Thats good to know. So, its still sitting at the local office. I think they are scheduling only in-person oath ceremonies and due to the sheer volume of people, its getting delayed. There is a ceremony today and one on 12/1. Hopefully sometime in mid of December or early Jan, we should get the oath ceremony scheduled. Fingers crossed!

Yes it looks they are having many application to schedule…yes I hope too wish you the best and will update once we have an update
